Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Erdem began his education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1995 and completed his undergraduate studies in 2000. In the same year, he started his doctoral studies in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. After completing his Ph.D. in 2006, he continued working as an Assistant Faculty Member in the same department.

He earned the title of “Associate Professor” in 2012 and was awarded the title of “Professor” in 2020. He is currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry and also holds the position of department chair.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Erdem has contributed to numerous scientific articles and research studies in the field of oral, dental, and maxillofacial surgery and actively participates in national and international congresses.
